Who we are
Child Mental Haven a charitable trust, therefore all profits realized are ploughed back into the hospital. The Board of Trustees run the facility by offering their services voluntarily in the day-to-day running of the hospital as they are responsible for all policy decisions. They do not receive any rewards or salaries for the charitable work they do for the hospital. Paying patients provide the main income for the hospital’s routine management. Child mental Haven is the first child mental hospital for children in Kenya and Africa. It’s a very unique facility in many ways:
- It’s a one stop health facility for children and adolescents
- We handle child and adolescents with range of challenges .
